This Holy Week, our parish family at St. Andrew’s gathered in prayer, reflection, and deep reverence as we journeyed together through the sacred mysteries of our faith. It was a week marked by beauty, unity, and a renewed encounter with Christ.
We began with Palm Sunday, recalling our Lord’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem. With palms in hand, our community joined in joyful procession, led by the voices and presence of our children and youth, reminding us of the living faith within our parish.

On Holy Thursday, we entered into the intimacy of the Last Supper. As we witnessed the washing of the feet and received the Eucharist, we were drawn into Christ’s humility and love. The evening continued in quiet Adoration, where many remained with the Lord in prayer, keeping watch with Him.
Good Friday invited us into the solemnity of the Passion. Through the Stations of the Cross - beautifully led by our Confirmation Class -we walked closely with Christ in His suffering. The veneration of the Cross became a powerful moment of reflection, as we honored the sacrifice that brought us salvation.
The Easter Vigil, the most sacred night of the year, began in darkness and blossomed into radiant light. As the Easter fire was kindled and the Exsultet proclaimed, we rejoiced in the victory of Christ over sin and death. With hearts full of hope, we renewed our baptismal promises and celebrated the joy of the Resurrection.
Finally, on Easter Sunday, our church was filled with joy as we proclaimed: “He is risen!” The celebration was vibrant and full of life, a true reflection of the hope we carry as Easter people.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who made this Holy Week so meaningful - our clergy, volunteers, liturgical committee, ministers, ushers, choir, and parishioners. Your dedication, service, and faith brought these sacred celebrations to life.
As we continue in the joy of the Easter season, may we carry the grace of this Holy Week into our daily lives, living as witnesses to Christ’s love and Resurrection.
Alleluia! He is risen! He is risen indeed!
