May 31 - The Ascension of the Lord

As we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, we are invited to contemplate the beautiful mystery at the very heart of our faith: a God who is not distant, but a communion of perfect love

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Before anything existed, there was love.

Through that love we were created, redeemed, and continually sustained by God's presence in our lives. The Trinity reminds us that we were never meant to walk alone. We were created to belong — to God and to one another. In a world that can often feel busy, divided, or uncertain, this feast calls us back to what matters most: faith, family, community, and the enduring love of God that holds us together.

Here at St. Andrew's Parish, we see that love made visible in countless ways. We see it in the families who gather each Sunday, in the children growing in faith through our Sunday School program, in the volunteers who generously serve behind the scenes, and in the parishioners who continue to support one another through life's joys and challenges.

This week, we look forward to celebrating the Uganda Martyrs Mass, honouring courageous witnesses who chose Christ above all else. We also prepare our hearts for our Corpus Christi Procession, where we will publicly proclaim our faith in the Lord who remains with us in the Holy Eucharist. These celebrations remind us that our faith is not merely something we believe - it is something we live, share, and celebrate together.

As summer approaches and our parish comes alive with gatherings, fellowship, and opportunities to grow closer as a community, may we never lose sight of the God who gathers us as one family.

So as you read through this week's bulletin, may you find more than announcements and upcoming events. May you encounter the living presence of God at work in our parish. May you be encouraged by the faith of those around you. And may you be reminded that you are an important part of this parish family.Because the story of St. Andrew's Parish is not written by buildings, programs, or events.

It is written by people.
By faith.
By love.

And by a God who continues to draw us closer to Himself and to one another each and every day.
