St. Andrew’s Parish was truly honoured to welcome Archbishop Launay Saturné of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, during his visit for the 2026 Annual Mission Appeal.

Throughout the weekend, Archbishop Saturné celebrated the Eucharist with our parish community and shared the inspiring story of the Church in Haiti. Through his heartfelt reflections, he reminded us of the resilience, faith, and hope of the Haitian people despite the many challenges they continue to face. His message was a powerful witness to the strength that comes from trusting in God and supporting one another as members of one universal Church.

Our parish was deeply enriched by his presence. Parishioners had the opportunity to pray with him, hear firsthand about the missionary work taking place in Haiti, and reflect on the importance of living our faith through generosity, solidarity, and compassion for those most in need.

Following Mass, Archbishop Saturné also joined us for our Annual Parish BBQ, where he enjoyed an afternoon of delicious food, joyful fellowship, and conversation with members of our parish family. It was a special blessing to welcome him not only as our visiting shepherd, but also as part of our community celebration. His warmth and joyful presence made the day even more memorable for everyone gathered.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Archbishop Saturné for visiting St. Andrew’s Parish and for sharing his wisdom, faith, and missionary spirit with our community. We also thank everyone who generously supported the Annual Mission Appeal through their prayers and contributions, helping to strengthen the Church’s mission and bring hope to communities throughout Haiti.

Please continue to keep Archbishop Saturné, the clergy and faithful of the Archdiocese of Cap-Haïtien, and all the people of Haiti in your prayers. May God bless their ministry with strength, peace, and abundant hope.

It was a blessing and privilege to welcome Archbishop Saturné to St. Andrew’s Parish. We pray that the seeds of faith, fellowship, and missionary discipleship planted during his visit will continue to bear fruit in the hearts of our parish family for years to come.
